SMPro offers more to manage your equipment tasks than any other product on the internet today. This application was developed by someone who worked in the tool & die industry and struggled with the old DOS based applications that were offered at that time. Through the years SMPro has progressed into a full featured application that offers robust fetures that apply to all aspects of preventive maintenance areas.
Our initail goal of SMPro was to develop an easy way to manage preventative maintenances tasks through an application that would alert you when a task is due. From there we added features that would email the task days prior, using a configurable setting, and re-alert you if the task wasn't completed in a time set in the administration section. This made more sense than to keep maintenance notes in our outlook calander because we now had a place to log our maintenance results.
Wikipedia describes AS9000 as a concept based on the ISO 9000 standards as they are related to aerospace quality management standards. These are procedures that monitor the processes related to the manufacturing of products. The thinking behind this is that you should be able to make the same part, with the same quality if everything was done the same exact way.
Never look for maintenance records again!
Keeping the ISO/AS standards in mind, ProServ Software & Support developed SMPro to not only help maintain maintenance schedules
but to also generate completed maintenance reports quickly. Operate completely paperless and help the environement!
Scan completed reports back into equipment records
with no effort at all. If you have the ability to scan the completed form, SMPro will automatically assign it to the equipment that generated the task.
